Why Bilstein B8 5125 Series Shocks Deliver Off- and On-Road Performance

When it comes to shocks, finding the right combination of off-road performance and on-road driving quality can feel like an uphill battle—and not the fun one you want.

If you use shocks meant for off-roading on pavement, you’ll be subjected to a harsh ride, uneven tire wear, and heavy stress on your suspension. Don’t even bother using shocks designed for pavement on the trail. But Bilstein’s B8 5125 Series shock absorbers are designed to handle different terrain at a price that won’t break the bank.

Here's why: The shocks have a nitrogen-infused 46mm monotube design which provide reliable, fade-free performance and improves shock life. A floating, high-flow piston provides more stability as it helps to reduce the harshness of the terrain. Bilstein's patented deflective self-adjusting valving means the shocks can instantly adapt to whatever surface you’re on, at any speed.

Other features include:
•Independent rebound and compression tuning
•Larger working piston area for exact damping
•Superior control for large-diameter tires
•Zinc coated for corrosion resistance

Blistein B8 5125 Series Shocks have stem-to-eye and eye-to-eye mounting and are perfect for custom applications. They are also available in direct fit applications for thousands of 1959-2007 domestic and import trucks.
