Wright Hand Tools Now Available at Summit Racing

Wright Tool has been making professional-grade tools for mechanics and industrial use since 1927. That’s 90 years of ratchets, wrenches, sockets, and other tools forged in the USA from American steel. Heft a Wright tool and you’ll feel the quality. If you rely on your tools to make a living, these are the ones you want.

Here are a few reasons why Wright Tools are so good:
• Wright engineers use state-of-the-art CAD/CAM technologies to design their tools. They even write their own design and machine programming in-house
• All Wright tools are forged from tough 4140 alloy steel using one of four hot-forging processes. Hot-forging maintains excellent metal grain flow for exceptional durability and reliability compared to tools made from cold-forming processes
• Wright makes their own tooling and does its own heat treating and plating to assure the highest possible quality

Summit Racing carries over 3,500 Wright Tool hand tools, including these:

WRIGHTGrip® Combination Wrench Sets
When you’re tired of rounding bolt heads with your current wrenches, get a set of WRIGHTGrip combination wrenches. They feature the patented WrightGrip anti-slip design that delivers more torque while increasing tool life. WRIGHTGrip incorporates strategically placed serrations inside the wrench head for better seating and a tighter grip on the fastener; one corner of the fastener locks into the wrench head to increase torque and prevent slippage under load. Wright Tools says a WRIGHTgrip wrench is as much as 80% stronger than a wrench of comparable quality.
Summit Racing has WRIGHTGrip Combination Wrench sets SAE and metric sizes. You even get a choice of chrome, black or fully polished finishes.

Wright Drive® Ratchet and Socket Sets
These socket sets feature the Wright Drive 12-point design that distributes contact stress more effectively than other socket designs. Wright Drive spreads the stress evenly over a larger contact area and away from the fastener corners. The result is up to ten times more tool-to-fastener contact area—just what’s needed to budge fasteners with worn or rounded heads.

The ratchets are pretty spiffy, too. The 3/8 and 1/2 inch drive ratchets have a 41-tooth double-pawl head design that combines the smooth action and short 4-1/2° arc swing of an 82-tooth head with the durability of a 41-tooth head. The 3/4 and one inch drive ratchets have a 45-tooth double-pawl head. The sets are available in SAE and metric sizes; the sockets and ratchets are also available separately.

Torque Multipliers
Need serious torque capability? Adding a torque multiplier to a standard 250 ft.-lb. torque wrench can literally apply thousands of foot pounds of torque to a fastener. Summit Racing carries Wright Tool multipliers ranging in output torque from 750 ft. lbs. to 3,200 ft. lbs. One-piece construction means you need just one tool versus stacking a number of multipliers.

Stud Remover
This compact tool loosens those stubborn studs, even in hard-to-reach spots. The tighter the stud, the more firmly the tool grips. The stud remover pulls 1/4 to 3/4 inch studs broken off close to the surface and works with any 1/2 inch square drive ratchet or speed handle.

Summit Racing carries tons of other Wright Tool products—clamps, screwdrivers, hammers, torque wrenches, breaker bars, nut drivers, the works. We also carry Wright Tool tool boxes and cabinets.
