BIGFOOT #1 Gets a Makeover on PowerNation TV's Engine Power and Xtreme Off-Road

2015 is the 40th anniversary of the worlds most popular monster truck, BIGFOOT. From its beginnings at local truck pulls and mud runs, Bob Chandlers BIGFOOT #1 Ford F-250 became a worldwide icon and the granddaddy of an entire army of BIGFOOT vehicles.

As part of the celebration BIGFOOT, PowerNation TV, and Summit Racing have teamed up to refurbish the original monster truck. BIGFOOT fans will be able to watch PowerNations Engine Power crew rebuild the trucks 640 cubic inch big block Ford engine to original specifications, complete with NOS parts like the ones used in the original build.

Over at PowerNation's Xtreme Off-Road, BIGFOOTs body and chassis will be returned to as-new condition, retaining virtually all of the components and panels that were installed back in the day.

The BIGFOOT renewal begins this this Saturday when Courtney Hansen talks with BiGFOOT inventor Bob Chandler and Summit Racing/BIGFOOT #18 driver Dan Runte about BIGFOOT history and the restoration project.
