Road Warrior 2.0: Building a 1978 Bronco to Tackle the Arctic
Courtney Barber loves old vehicles. She also loves going on long--and we mean long--road trips. Case in point is the Project Road Warrior 1965 Mustang she built and drove from South Carolina all the way to Alaska and back. The build and the trip were documented in Mustang Monthly Magazine--you can find the stories at Mustang360.com.
Courtney is at it again, but this time the vehicle of choice is a 1978 Ford Bronco. The project will follow the same path as the Mustang--buy a vehicle, fix what needs fixing, and road trip it back to Alaska. Learning her lesson after resurrecting the Mustang from near-death and taking a beating on the Alaskan Denali Highway in the car, Courtney flew to Illinois to buy a nice running and driving Bronco. We all know how that usually works out, and her trip back to North Carolina was just the beginning of the adventure.
We'll be documenting Project Road Warrior 2.0 from start to finish on our OnAllCylinders blog--you can check out Part One right now. It's going to be interesting!
