Amphenol RF N-Type Straight Crimp Plugs

Amphenol RF Type-N Male Crimp Connectors were developed to satisfy the need for a durable, weatherproof, medium-size RF connector with consistent performance through 11 GHz. Because of their superior performance, N-connectors are found on many Amateur VHF and UHF antennas.

Their primary applications are the termination of small 50 ohm coaxial cables, including RG-8X, LMR-240 and other cables of the same size. RF coaxial connectors are the most important elements in the cable system. Copper coaxial cables have the potential to deliver all of the performance that your system requires, but they are often limited by the performance of the connectors.

These connectors feature brass bodies finished in White Bronze plating. Their PTFE dielectric material resists water absorption, while their gold plated contacts ensure corrosion-free connective surfaces.

Intermodulation Distortion (IMD), a major concern in today's communications systems, is consistently low with N-Type cable connectors. Additionally, all N-Type cable connectors are optimally impedance matched to their cables for low VSWR and insertion loss.
