Bioenno Power BLF-1208LB LiFePO4 Batteries are a completely sealed 12V 8 Ah battery based on state-of-the-art Lithium Iron Phosphate electrodes. This battery is useful for e-bikes, e-scooters, solar, Amateur Radio, electronics, energy storage, and many other applications. This battery has a built-in PCM/BMS (protection circuit module/battery management system) which provides complete protection and balancing of the internal cells in the battery as well as protection from over current, under voltage (over-discharge) and over-voltage. A compatible 110/220 VAC 2A AC to DC charger with Alligator Clips is available separately.

• This battery should be charged using a LiFePO4 compatible charger. SLA battery chargers are NOT compatible.

Frequently Asked Question: “I noticed the Max and Peak Continuous Discharge on the battery label may be different from the website and why?

Answer: The printed label may be rated to 1C Max Continuous or 2C peak.”

Bioenno batteries have different size circuit boards installed in order to ensure the battery can deliver the 2,000 to 3,000 charge cycles.

The de-rating on the label to 1C (or 1 x Capacity) is mentioned to ensure the battery can deliver more than 2,000 to 3,000 cycles. However, rest assured for those batteries over 12Ah, they can deliver the 23 Amps (for 100W PEP transmission) for your ham radio equipment which has a duty cycle of 20% transmit and 80% receive. If you operate continuous at the 2C (or 2 x Capacity of the battery) discharge (with no duty cycle), the cycle life is a bit less to about 1,800 to 2,000 cycles instead of 2,000 to 3,000 cycles.
