CHAMELEON ANTENNA CHA UCM Unviversal Clamp Mounts

The super heavy-duty CHA UCM Universal Clamp Mount is the first ham radio antenna mounting system purposely designed for extreme portable operations. This is a rugged, robust product, intended to support considerable antenna loads.

The CHA UCM is by far the ultimate mounting system on the market. Durable and perfect for use in semi-permanent or portable installations, it features quick and easy installation and removal.

The UCM lets you easily mount your antenna to virtually any flat surface. The UCM mounting base is fabricated from a massive 6061 aluminum extrusion channel. With its wide 2-1/2 in. lip, this innovative product is designed to clamp on surfaces up to 3-1/2 in. thick. The extraordinary quality and structure of the extrusion are almost 1/4 in. thick.

All the vital hardware is brass. The grounding lug is 1/4-20 brass, with all brass hardware; creating a low-resistance path from the coaxial connector to the grounding lug. All other hardware is stainless. Each UCM comes standard with a 3/8-24 in. Stud Mount for the antenna.

NOTE: IF THE UNIT IS USED WITH THE CHA HYBRID, MINI OR MICRO (CHA MPAS AND MPAS 2.0) IT WILL BE IMPORTANT TO REMOVE THE INSULATION WASHER UNDER THE SO-239 STUD TO ESTABLISH A CONTINUITY BETWEEN THE HYBRID GROUND AND THE COUNTERPOISE ATTACHED TO THE CHA UCM GROUND LUG.
