Overview

DX Engineering Porcelain Guy Line Strain Insulators

DX Engineering Porcelain Guy Line Strain Insulators provide the strength, insulation and isolation you need for guyed tower systems.

These porcelain insulators accept large guy lines, dead ends or bent-pin shackles and are suitable for all guyed towers where breaking strength for each insulator is not exceeded.

DXE-502 insulators are rated at 10,000 lbs. breaking strength. The more-massive DXE-504 insulators take that number to 12,000 lbs. of force. Stranded steel 1/4 EHS cable has a breaking strength of about 6,500 lbs. DXE-504 insulators are nearly twice that value!

DX Engineering Porcelain Guy Line Strain Insulators provide flashover insulation of at least 12kV… when wet! These insulators will also let you section your steel guy lines to avoid resonant-length interactions or pattern-modifying interference with your radiated signals. They are perfect for use with synthetic guy lines too. Use them to provide steel lower guy tails to avoid vandalism or damage to synthetics due to large animals.

Do towers right! Choose a good design and then buy DX Engineering Porcelain Guy Line Strain Insulators to erect and maintain towers the right way.
