DX Engineering Nomad Portable Telescopic Masts

DX Engineering Nomad Portable Telescopic Masts are unique, high-quality lightweight fiberglass portable masts designed for rugged conditions. Specifically intended for POTA (Parks On The Air), SOTA (Summits On The Air) and JOTA (Jamboree On The Air), Nomad masts are readily available for fast and simple deployment in any backpack or portable operation.

Nomad Portable Telescopic Masts are available in four versions - Red or Black and 19 ft. or 23 ft. extended heights and they collapse small enough, and are light enough, to take on a backpack "hike-pedition" like SOTA, or to elevate a lightweight antenna for any portable or temporary operation, such as POTA (Parks On The Air).

* High-gloss fiberglass sections with a great combination of high strength and light weight
* Non-conducting low-loss fiberglass construction
*Friction Lock: Pull each section up with twisting motion to lock. When extending, start with the smallest section. When collapsing, start with the largest section.
* Super short collapsed length for easy transport
* Two distinct colors for different visual purposes; Stealth Black and High Visibility Red
* Removable base cap to allow field repairs and sections to be removed, if desired
* Hollow top-section allows wires to be fed through for a full length wire antenna
* Perfect for use with DX Engineering Low Power Portable Dipole and Winder Kit Antennas
