DX Engineering Clifton Laboratories High-Gain Preamplifiers are adapted, assembled versions of the circuit project kits developed by Jack Smith, K8ZOA (SK).
This is our version, the DXE-Z10046B-PM High-Output Preamplifier with 23dB gain, which is virtually identical to its predecessor in specs and performance.
This versatile module preamp can plug directly into the DXE-NCC-2 and DXE-RTR-2 units. Also, you can easily create a separate high-performance in-line receive-only preamplifier with the DXE-Z10046B-PM module installed in our DXE-DMC-2 Dual Module Chassis.
The legacy built by Jack Smith, K8ZOA (SK) with Clifton Laboratories lives on with select products by DX Engineering.
