Andress Technologies K7NV Mast Clamps
Andress Technologies K7NV Mast Clamps are used as heavy-duty replacements for the original mast clamps that are installed on the top of M2 Antennas OR2800 Positioners and Yaesu G2800-DXA, G1000-DXA, and G800-DXA Rotators. Bolt kits for mounting the K7NV mast clamp onto these rotators are sold separately by brand. See the "Suggested Parts" tab at the "More Details" link.
This is a direct bolt-on replacement for the stock OR-2800 or Yaesu DXA Series mast clamp that will significantly improve the mast connection to the rotator. The mast gripping pressure of this clamp may be adjusted by changing the torque applied to the included clamping fasteners.
The clamp assembly has a clearance hole in the center to fit over the bolt and bushing that holds the rotator output shaft up to the base plate. This plate has separate holes drilled for M2 or Yaesu rotators.
This available size is for 2 in. diameter masts, which will fit either of the OR2800 base plates, the 6 in. round plate, or the 6 in. x 8 in. oval plate.
