MFJ 1779C 20 to 6M Single Band Dipole Antenna Kits

MFJ 1779C 20 to 6M Single Band Dipole Antenna Kits are used to make ultra-high quality center-fed dipoles up to 35 ft. long. They will provide trouble-free operation for many, many years.

Their custom injection-molded UV-resistant center insulator has a built-in coax connector and a hanging-hole for rope support. Heavy-duty, 7-strand, 14-gauge hard copper antenna wire is employed to ensure extended life. These MFJ single band dipole kits utilize extremely strong solderless crimped construction and authentic glazed-ceramic insulators. All you need to do is to trim the length for your favorite frequency with the included cutting chart!

Of course, you may want to calculate the length for some other band or frequency, like your favorite SWL frequency. These kits are very flexible. As an example, let's use WHRI on 17.570 MHz!

The dipole antenna you build may be used as a horizontal dipole, inverted "V," or sloping dipole. On the ham bands, they will handle a full 1,500 Watts when trimmed to frequency.
