MFJ 1799 Vertical Stealth Antennas
MFJ-1799 Vertical Stealth Antennas are highly efficient end-loaded 1/2 wave verticals. They cover 10 bands: 75/80, 40, 30, 20, 17, 15, 12 and 10 meters plus 6 and 2 meters VHF. Even with such wide coverage, they are only 20 feet high and have a very manageable 7-foot footprint. You may easily mount them in a small area of yard, on a mast or pole or on the patio. MFJ-1799s are such low profile that they can gently blend-in with trees and sky.
MFJ-1799s require no radials, use no lossy traps and employ efficient end-loading. Their high-power air-wound choke balun eliminates unwanted feed-line radiation and reduces RFI. MFJ-1799s feature automatic band switching, no moving parts, no UV issues, a low radiation angle, are omni-directional and handle up to 1500 Watts PEP.
