The Ciro Mazzoni SERIAL SWITCH MZZ-SS232-USB is a specialized interface unit for LOOP Antenna users that allows interconnection and simultaneous operations with one PC, one transceiver and the ATU 2.0. Your computer software can control your transceiver and the LOOP ATU 2.0 at the same time! This is a fantastic device for those who depend on a LOOP Antenna and who also want to use a PC for interfaced radio operations.

The SERIAL SWITCH is an accessory designed specifically for use with the ATU 2.0, the tuning unit that comes with each of the LOOP Antennas, MIDI, BABY and STEALTH. Connect the SERIAL SWITCH to the PC with the RS232 to USB adapter cable supplied, to the ATU via the RS485 port, and to the transceiver using one of the optional interface cables. The SERIAL SWITCH operates on power from the ATU 2.0 (RS485 port, 5 Vdc at 30mA).

NOTE: Operation of the SERIAL SWITCH requires ATU 2.0 to firmware version 4.01 or later. Update firmware available from the Ciro Mazzoni LOOP Antenna website.
