Paradan Radio Antenna Disconnect Actuators for Ladder Lines

Paradan Radio Antenna Disconnect Actuators for Ladder Lines reduce the chance of station damage from lightning surges. The Antenna Disconnect Actuator automatically disconnects the antenna from your tuner and radio and grounds the antenna. It helps prevent static discharge, surges, and the effect of nearby lightning strike pulse events from damaging your tuner, radio and associated equipment. This Antenna Disconnect Actuator is excellent for protecting remote stations from lightning surge.

This Antenna Disconnect Actuator operates on 10 to 18 Vdc, which may be supplied by a transceiver equipped with a DC output. Or, connect it to your power supply that you turn off when not operating. When the power is turned OFF, the antenna's two binding posts are shorted together and grounded, and shack side binding posts are disconnected. When powered ON, the Actuator reconnects the antenna for normal operating. Just insert each wire from the twin lead ladder-line into the binding post hole and secure by tightening the red and black post nuts. It comes with a Ring Terminal, four Barrel Connectors, and a Powerpole® connector pair. (® registered trademark of Anderson)
