Par EndFedz® EF-ALLBAND-KW 80-10m End Fed Half Wave Antenna - The most recent addition to the line, the EF-ALLBAND-KW is a 1 kW ICAS power handling antenna for the eight Amateur Radio bands, 80 – 10 meters, designed to be employed without the use of an antenna tuner. This ruggedly constructed wire antenna features all stainless steel hardware, strain relief at the feedpoint, and is designed to be put up once and left for permanent use. Weighing just over two pounds, this antenna is also an ideal travel companion for multi-band operation without multi-pounds of weight added. It works well in many types of installations, either as a sloper, vertical, straight, or in an end fed inverted V configuration. The included installation manual depicts various mounting ideas.

The designer and manufacturer refers to these antennas as "End Fed Dipoles" based upon the assertion that a "half wave radiator is a dipole." This is a variant of the classic definition of a dipole that is center-fed antenna with two radiating legs running in opposite directions from the feedpoint. Additional claims about the EFHW state that end feeding a half wave "can energize the radiator nearly as well as a center-fed dipole."
