Phonema GAMMA PHITS Speaker Modification Kits provide a new, superior-quality, Neodymium-based driver for your speaker cabinet to dramatically improve the sound quality of your communications speaker.

Phonema has identified new driver technology that has better frequency response and power handling than the original.

Professional sound engineers have, for many decades, designed Hi-Fi speaker systems with improved drivers, to specifically alter basic speaker-cabinet response. Your Amateur Radio communications speakers can benefit from this approach to sound.

Phonema GAMMA PHITS kits are supplied to fit specific Icom, Yaesu and Kenwood speakers. These kits require no cutting or trimming of your existing cabinet! GAMMA PHITS kits are already prepared for easy and painless installation into the speaker cabinet for which it was designed.

Special Update: There are two separate GAMMA PHITS kits for Kenwood SP-23 speakers. The PNE-GPH-K23 is for the older aluminum-front SP-23 and a different driver, the PNE-GPH-K23X is required for the newer plastic-front SP-23 speakers. They are NOT interchangeable, so please check to determine which Kenwood SP-23 you have before ordering one of these excellent replacements.
