Comet VHF/UHF Ground Independent Mobile Vertical Antennas are dual-band mobile antennas designed for installation in places where traditional ground plane antennas won't work. The GI990 requires no ground plane, meaning installation on vehicles such as RV's boats, golf carts, ATV's and motorcycles is now possible with the GI990 antennas.
The GI990 is 62 in. long and available with both UHF or NMO connectors, the GI990 antennas provide 5.1 dBi on VHF and 7.7 dBi on UHF. With a maximum power rating of 150W, the GI990 is a perfect match for any of today's mobile radios.
