Comet HFJ Mini Tripods
Comet HFJ Mini Tripods are the easy to carry companion for portable operations and is designed to support a variety of antennas. These tripods are quick and easy to set up; weighing in at just 1 pound and collapsing to 7.5 inches, this tripod extends to 2.6 feet and comes with a mounting post for a 3/8x24 and a UHF Female connector. All components are manufactured from aircraft-grade aluminum alloy and designed for a long life of use. Both mounting posts terminate in SO-239 connector, allowing flexible connections to a variety of radios.
This tripod is capable of holding up to 6.6 pounds and is a perfect companion to the Comet HFJ-350 portable antennas. Combine it with the CMA-CGW-560 and you have a portable antenna system for any band from 160 meters through 6 meters. This Mini Tripod will sit perfectly on a picnic table or the ground and provide easy access to the antenna for quick tuning adjustments and band changes.
