DX Engineering RG-58A/U 52-ohm Low-Loss Coaxial Cable Assemblies

DX Engineering RG-58A/U 52-ohm Low-Loss Coaxial Cable Assemblies are very flexible, solid dielectric, braided shield cable intended for RF connections to SO-239 and BNC equipment and antennas. These assemblies are suitable for moderate-power applications where flexibility is a key consideration.

NOTE: These premade cables come with either high quality, silver plated 83-1SP PL-259 or silver plated BNC Male connectors installed at each end of the DXE-58AU cable, for use on any equipment with SO-239 or BNC Female connectors.

Slightly smaller than RG-8X cable, DX Engineering RG-58A/U Coaxial Cable Assemblies are made from our new-process DXE-58AU solid dielectric cable. Featuring a stranded tinned copper center conductor, a braided tinned copper shield and a standard Type I PVC jacket, our 58AU cable assemblies are intended for low to moderate power, test and mobile applications where short runs and flexibility are required. DX Engineering RG-58AU offers easy handling characteristics and good shielding. Plus, this solid dielectric cannot gather moisture and has longer viability than old RG-58 foam cables.

INFO: Type-I PVC is not intended for permanent installation in outdoor locations where sun exposure is expected. This cable can last well over 10 years if it is protected from UV sunlight.

Our RG-58AU Coaxial Cable Assemblies come complete with high-quality silver-plated Delrin-dielectric PL-259 or BNC male connectors. Their machine-crimped shields feature 360 degrees of complete mechanical and electrical contact for maximum reliability. Their center conductors are hand soldered and inspected. All DX Engineering Cable Assemblies are Hi-Pot tested and heat-shrink weather-sealed for the ultimate in service longevity.
