DX Engineering RG-8X BNC Low-Loss 50-ohm Coax Cable Assemblies

DX Engineering RG-8X BNC Low-Loss 50-ohm Coaxial Cable Assemblies are very flexible low-loss, foam-dielectric, braided shield cable intended for special connections to BNC equipment. Suitable for moderate-power, base, mobile or portable applications where short runs and flexibility are key factors.

NOTE: THESE ARE NOT PL-259 CABLES. These assemblies have BNC MALE connectors installed at each end of the cable, for use on specialized equipment with BNC Female connectors.

Slightly larger than RG-58 cable, DX Engineering DX Engineering RG-8X BNC Low-Loss 50-ohm Coaxial Cable Assemblies are made from our new-process low-loss, gas injected foam dielectric cable. Featuring stranded copper center, braided copper shield and a non-contaminating Type II PVC jacket, our 8X BNC cable assemblies are intended for low to moderate power, test and mobile applications where short runs and flexibility are key factors. Slightly larger than RG-58 cable, DX Engineering RG-8X offers better handling characteristics and very good shielding. Plus, this is the new type of foam that cannot gather moisture and has lower loss than old RG-8X foam cables.

Our RG-8X BNC Low-Loss 50-ohm Coaxial Cable Assemblies come complete with high-quality nickel-body Delrin-dielectric BNC male connectors. Their machine-crimped shields feature 360 degrees of complete mechanical and electrical contact for maximum reliability. Their gold-plated center conductors are hand soldered and inspected. All DX Engineering Cable Assemblies are Hi-Pot tested and heat-shrink weather-sealed for the ultimate in service longevity.
