DX Engineering Ferrite Large Snap-On Beads provide a high degree of RF choking and they can dramatically reduce RF noise. These are heavy duty beads for multi-purpose use on wires and cables. Effective RFI and noise suppression is provided on power, control, keying and audio wires. With a sufficient number of these Snap-On Beads, pulse noise and RFI may be virtually eliminated. These beads are big enough to be placed on large bundled control cables and power supply cables. Large Snap-On Beads also offer greater surface area for a larger number of turns of smaller wire. Although some effort is involved with winding smaller wires around large snap-bead cores before closing them, a much greater degree of RF noise suppression is achieved.
