DX Engineering Hexxagonal Beam Hexx Hubs

DX Engineering Hexxagonal Beam Hexx Hubs have a unique design that can be used in the construction of either the classic or the G3TXQ broadband hex beam antennas. Or even your own homebrew creation!

Made of cast aluminum, these exclusive DX Engineering patented* Hexx hubs are the heart of the DX Engineering Hexxagonal Beam. They provide the lightest weight, with consistent mechanical strength--far superior to other products on the market.

Other products require additional drilling or inferior attachment flanges with tiny set screws, cheap hardware, and U-bolts to clamp the spreader to a flat plate. These are complete, ready-to-use, lightweight, heavy-duty hub kits! These Hexx hubs are specially designed to be mechanically superior to available or homemade base plate designs. They have integral V-saddles and all stainless steel V-bolt hardware to firmly attach even larger fiberglass spreaders up to 1-1/2 in. O.D. (for 40 and 30 meter applications) in proper alignment without crushing or drilling; which weakens the spreaders.

The upper and lower mast mounts are integrally cast into the hubs, eliminating the need to find or use separate mounting flanges, reducing assembly time, improving mast alignment, and providing a far stronger heavy-duty attachment for the mast. The adjustable mount will accommodate masts up to 1-5/8 in. O.D.
