Add an optional Radial Wire Kit to fill your antenna space with radials, placed like spokes of a wheel for maximum signal benefit. Radial wires do not need to be resonant lengths on the ground. Many radials, even if they are short, are better than few long ones. Please, do not put your antenna on a metal fence. They are poor RF conductors, do not prevent ground losses, and they gather noise and put it right into your radio!
