DX Engineering MBVE-1UG Auto-Tune Vertical Antenna Upgrade Kits

With DX Engineering MBVE-1UG Auto-Tune Vertical Antenna Upgrade Kits, you may improve your DX Engineering MBVE-1 Vertical Antenna to an Auto-Tune model.

You will enjoy an improvement in performance on your vertical antenna with the added convenience and efficiency of remote automatic tuning operation from 80 through 10 meters. Many Upgrade Kits include the automatic tuner, while some Upgrade Kits have all of the same parts, but without the tuner for those who already own the tuner. Your upgrade adds DX Engineering's exclusive new automatic antenna tuner mounting brackets that secure the tuner above the tilt base, well above the ground, for easy installation and access, away from potential damage by water and animals.

Click on the DOCUMENTATION tab within any of the upgrade kits listed below and then on the CHARTS and GUIDES link to see all of the MBVE-1UG Auto-Tune Vertical Antenna Upgrade Kit offerings. Some of these antenna packages include the tuner and some include tuner mounting brackets and hardware only, for those who already own that tuner. All antenna upgrade packages include the antenna tuner mount, antenna element tubing extension and stainless steel hardware and clamps.

As you know, using our ground-mounted vertical, you work DX as you never could with a low, horizontal dipole antenna! Upgrading to as MBVE-1 Series Auto-Tune Vertical Antenna can improve efficiency and extend your HF operations to new parts of the world.

Like any HF vertical, upgrading your MBVE-1 vertical does require a good ground radial system. We highly recommend installing 32 radials, 65 ft. long are recommended. Fewer or shorter radials will work, but with some diminished results. A great ground-mounted vertical has the available space covered with 20 or more evenly spaced radials, each of any length from 15 to 65 ft. Do the work and you'll work the world! ™

DX Engineering MBVE-1UG Auto-Tune Vertical Antenna Upgrade Kits feature stainless steel brackets and hardware and automatic antenna tuners that allow you to access almost all HF bands with only one antenna solution. Upgrade your MBVE-1 series Vertical with one of these premium-quality Upgrade Kits from DX Engineering.
