DX Engineering Ultra-Grip 2 Crimp Connector Hand Tools and Tool Kits

DX Engineering Ultra-Grip 2 Crimp Connector Hand Tools and Tool Kits are ready to help you make professional quality crimped coaxial cable assemblies, Powerpole® connections and many other popular-size wire terminations.

Ultra-Grip 2 Crimp Tools are precision made heavy-duty commercial grade hand crimp tools. They are multi-purpose interchangeable-die tools made from high-quality carbon steel with a tough black-oxide finish for corrosion resistance and durability. These easy-to-use ratcheting crimpers are ergonomically shaped to produce extra manual power, with soft non-slip dual-color thermoplastic rubber grips for comfortable and positive connector crimping results. Ultra-Grip 2's integral ratcheting mechanism lets you make 'semi-automatic' perfect crimps, again and again, with any of the available dies for RF connectors and wire terminations.

One of or DXE-UT-CRMP2 Crimp Tools is supplied with the DXE-UT-DIE-8U Crimp Die for RG-8U/213/LMR-400 size cable. The included 2.5 mm Allen wrench is used to change to one of the other optional die sets.

Other sets cover the most popular sizes of coaxial cables with ten different Amphenol Connex crimp connectors in UHF Male/PL-259, Type N, BNC; Powerpole® connector sizes 15, 30 and 45 Ampere connectors, Molex connector pins, insulated crimp type connectors for 22-18/16-14/12-10 AWG and un-insulated crimp type connectors for 20-18/16-14/12-10 and 8 AWG.

Our crimp tool and dies are compatible with major brand crimp tool manufacturers.

DX Engineering Ultra-Grip 2 Crimp Connector Hand Tool Kits, model DXE-UT-KIT-CRMP2, provides a handsome, convenient carrying case furnished with the Ultra-Grip 2 Crimp Connector Hand Tool, cable shears, braid trimming tool and ALL FIVE CRIMP DIE SETS with a precut foam insert providing a home for each tool and die set. Coaxial cable connector crimping dies are cut to enable crimping both the ferrule and the center pin.

DXE-UT-CRMP2 Crimp Tools, sold individually, include one set of DXE-UT-DIE-8U Crimp Dies for RG-8U/213/LMR-400 size cable.
