HA8DU Tuners DU4000ML Reversible L-Network Manual Antenna Tuner is a stylish, exceptional 4kW manual antenna tuner that covers the frequency range of 1.8-30 MHz. Its unique configuration uses a rotary switch to change the high-voltage variable capacitor component, its values and position, to either the input or output side of the 26-turn digital-counter high-quality roller inductor. This is an extremely effective method for matching the 50-ohm transceiver or amplifier to a variety of very low or very high impedance unbalanced antennas. A rotary switch selects the matching network to one of three antenna output connectors or bypass. The auto-ranging cross-needle SWR and wattmeter features 500W and 5000W scales which is backlit and powered by 12VDC. SO-239 connectors are used for the input and outputs.
The DU4000ML tunes up to a 10: SWR, handles up to 4000W at 3:1 SWR, across 1.8 to 30MHz. It features a large 3500V, 500pF variable capacitor and a 0.5-23uH silver-plated roller inductor with ceramic body. Dimensions (WHD): 17 x 6.2 x 15.4 in. (430 x 160 x 154mm), less projections. Weight 17.6 lbs. (8 kg).
