Hy-Gain AV-18AVQII Five-Band HF Vertical Antennas are a classic design that has returned with improvements! These HF verticals now feature three separate air dielectric Hy-Q traps for 40 through 10 meters. They also include a top-loading coil for 80 meters that employs the full length of the antenna for effective radiation on that band. These antennas support a full 1.5 kW PEP!
With their concise instruction manual, Hy-Gain AV-18AVQII antennas assemble easily. Once assembled, coaxial connection is made with a convenient, integral SO-239 connector at the antenna base. They make getting on 80, 40, 20, 15, and 10 meters a snap!
