Heil Sound Microphone Booms

Heil Sound PL2T Topless Proline Microphone Booms are truly the finest professional microphone booms available today. They employ a system of perfectly balanced internal springs, rather than the unsightly and mechanically unstable outboard springs used on many other booms. They can easily handle a microphone weighing up to 2.5 lbs. (1.6 kg), quietly stay right where you put them. They have a hollow channel that the microphone cable can be fed through and provide the perfect cable maintenance. This unique "topless" design of the PL2Ts allows you to remove the top and back cover plates, so you can thread the microphone cable along the spine of the mount. Once the cable is in place, you snap the cover plates back in place for a clean installation with no visible wiring.

Heil PL2T Topless Proline Microphone Booms are shipped with a standard C-clamp mount that will accept a 1.5 in. thick table. For mounting your Heil microphone, the PL2Ts accept all of the Heil Sound (industry standard) 5/8-27 in. threaded microphone clips or shock mounts. The chrome threaded stem can be locked into the optimum mounting position, depending upon the exact type of microphone and/or shock mount being used.
