Hamplus AS-603AL Smart Antenna Switch, 6 Antennas to 3 Radios Plus Amplifier Connections

Hamplus AS-603AL Automatic Antenna Switches are actually two very smart switches, one for three radios and one for six antennas, plus they have rear panel ports for an amplifier or filter set to be used in between! These Smart Switches also provide selection of one of six antenna ports for the selected radio to use, manually or automatically! Operation is individual; only the selected radio port has access to the selected antenna and unused antennas are automatically grounded. Illuminated and easily labeled momentary push buttons for each antenna and radio selection let you know exactly which radio is connected to which antenna at a glance!

Here is why the AS-603AL is a fantastic desktop Automatic Smart Switch: The selected radio’s frequency information is read by the AS-603 and it automatically switches to the last memorized antenna port selection for that frequency range. This means that completely different antennas that properly cover different band segments are easily and automatically selected by simply changing the frequency on the radio or even by selecting a different radio. The days of simplistic band decoders are gone.

How does the AS-603AL do all of that? It has three rear panel connectors for individual data interface cables from all three radios. They can all be the same or they can all be different types of transceivers! Using those optional cables listed in Suggested Parts, the AS-603AL supports communication via Icom CI-V Remote port, and via RS-232 COM port for Kenwood, Elecraft K3, Yaesu or another radio that uses one of those communication protocols.

These switches are relay controlled and handle up to 2 kW at low SWR over the entire RF spectrum up through 60 MHz. They allow the connection of each radio port to one common amplifier and manages the keying line from each radio.
