Boasting 5.5 watts of RF output, Kenwood TH-K20A 144 MHz Handheld Transceivers are very powerful. Despite being small enough to fit comfortably in the palm, they offer full-size performance and numerous features to ensure superb operating ease. Their display and keypad are both backlit for nighttime use.
For added convenience, everyday functions are pre-programmed to 11 keys, with an additional Programmable Feature (PF) key that may be assigned a custom function. Plus, their construction is rugged enough to meet MIL-STD 810 C, D, E, F and G environmental standards. Designed to meet demanding exposure requirements, they meet or exceed the stringent IP54 dust and water intrusion standards. TH-K20A transceivers stand up to the worst weather! Inside and out, the TH-K20A is fully equipped for clear communications... wherever and whenever needed.
