Larsen LSN-NMOHFMID Middle Thickness NMO Mounts
Larsen LSN-NMOHFMID Middle Thickness NMO Mounts are valuable for antenna installations requiring surface mounting applications in thicker sheet metal. These are great mounts for high frequency, VHF or UHF antennas. They are very suitable for hams using 0.0 to 6,000 MHz. They function very well on the medium frequency bands when used with suitable antennas.
Their center pin is removable to allow functionality as a standard or high frequency mount. These permanent mounts require a 0.75 in. diameter hole in flat surfaces from 0.761mm up to 5.9mm (0.232 in.) thick. They are fine for use in vehicular sheet metal as thin as 0.03 in. thick. RG-58/U coax is the correct cable for use with these mounts. Coaxial cable is not included.
For those times when the surface is way too thick for standard NMO mounts, one of these Larsen LSN-NMOHFMID Middle Thickness NMO Mounts, available from DX Engineering, is just the ticket!
