Overview
Momobeam TRI16-BT 20/15/10 Meter Yagi Antennas
Momobeam TRI16‑BT 20/15/10 Meter Yagi Antennas are high‑performance tri‑band antenna systems engineered specifically for installation on large towers and demanding station environments. Designed for operators who require exceptional gain, pattern control, and mechanical durability, these antennas deliver powerful, consistent results across the 20, 15, and 10 meter bands.
TRI16 BT antennas are truly unique. The generous spacing between the elements around the boom‑to‑mast plate allows installation on towers with sides up to 70 inches per side. Built on a 38‑foot boom, each antenna features a total of sixteen elements: four elements on 20 meters (reflector, driver, and two directors), five elements on 15 meters (reflector, driver, and three directors), and seven elements on 10 meters (reflector, driver, and five directors). This aggressive element configuration delivers outstanding forward gain and strong rejection performance across all bands.
Each TRI16‑BT antenna includes an assembly tool and spare hardware such as bolts and an aluminum replacement tube. A high‑quality 3kW RF choke balun is also included as standard—an important advantage, as many manufacturers offer similar components only as optional extras. This premium balun ensures proper feed‑line isolation and cleaner RF behavior for high‑power operation.
Assembly is designed to be straightforward and intuitive. The antennas use a square‑boom structure for strength and reliability, and all hardware is packaged in individually labeled bags. Each aluminum tube is clearly marked for quick identification, ensuring a smooth, error‑free installation process even on complex large‑tower projects.
TRI16‑BT antennas require only a single coaxial cable and a medium‑to heavy‑duty rotator to support their robust mechanical build. With their combination of advanced engineering, substantial element count, and tower‑friendly design, these antennas provide exceptional performance for serious Amateur Radio operators who demand the very best from their tri‑band Yagi systems.
