mAT-TUNER mAT-50 Automatic Antenna Tuner and Coupler Packages include the mAT-50 Automatic Antenna Tuner, along with either an ICOM, Yaesu, or Kenwood Coupler and corresponding control cable for the selected transceiver. The mAT-50 is a multi-purpose remote antenna tuner that has the capability of matching a variety of antennas and impedances including long-wires, dipoles, verticals, Yagi’s, whips or virtually any coax-fed antennas.

The advanced control technology of the mAT-50 consists of two parts, the antenna tuner and a transceiver dependent coupler. The sturdy, weather resistant Tuner is installed outside, near the antenna. The coupler is installed inside, near the transceiver and provides power for the tuner, and controls the tuner during operation. These tuners do not require a control cable between the remote tuner and coupler, making installation and use a breeze. The only required connection between the antenna tuner and coupler is one 50 ohm coaxial cable.

The mAT-50 uses "No-Control-Line" and "Power-Off-Hold" technology. No-Control-Line technology transmits the RF power signal, control signaling and DC power on the coaxial cable. Power-Off-Hold technology allows the tuner to only receive power during a tuning operation and the coupler interrupts the tuner's DC after tuning. This innovative technology enables the mAT-50 to exhibit stable performance and excellent anti-interference capability for simple and convenient “one-key” tuning. The mAT-50 can also be used as a universal tuner for all transceivers if a mAT-50-Y or mAT-50-M coupler is connected to an external DC power supply (not included) and a control cable is not installed. You can then operate the tuner manually.
