Chelegance U5V3++ Portable Dual Band Yagi Antennas are light weight and highly directional antennas featuring 3 elements on VHF and 5 elements on UHF. The gain numbers are impressive for a compact antenna as well: 9.5 dBi on VHF and 11.15 dBi on UHF. A two-piece boom, measuring 24 inches in length has numbered slots for each element. Assembling this antenna is as easy as snapping the boom together and then matching the numbers on the elements with the corresponding locations on the boom. The feedpoint features a UHF-Female (SO-239) and is permanently attached to the boom, with two small support rods and clamps that allow for tuning adjustment. The whole antenna is designed to be field assembled using no tools.

Chelegance even thought of mounting options too: an included pair of 17mm ball mounts allow for attachment of the included phone holder or for mounting the antenna to a compatible mount. A U-bolt is also included so you can mount the antenna to a mast.

With a weight of just 1.43 pounds, this antenna is light enough that you can take it out and operate any of the amateur radio satellites, the International Space Station, or use it for highly directional communication with terrestrial based stations and repeaters.
