Overview
Fobos Wideband General Purpose SDR Receivers offer exciting functionality designed to elevate your radio communication experience. This is a high-performance Software-Defined Radio receiver encased in a sleek, attractive blue aluminum body. Equipped with High-Speed USB 3.0, Fobos SDR ensures quick data transfer and easy device connectivity. The compact and EMI-shielded construction further enhances its durability, making it ideal for a variety of challenging environments.
Primary features of our new Fobos SDR • Broad Frequency Range: Fobos SDR offers a continuous operating frequency range from 100 kHz – 25 MHz (direct sampling) and 25 MHz – 6 GHz (double conversion heterodyne). • High-Quality Signal Conversion: Dual conversion, two HF channels, 14-bit ADC, 50 MHz IQ rate. • Continuous Data Stream: Uninterrupted recording and real-time analysis. Updated features and improvements • Added a custom GPO port for 8 lines (general purpose output – software-controlled digital outputs) for remote control of the SDR. • Improved frequency response. • Added protection against static electricity and input voltage surges. • Minimized influence of parasitic harmonics and improved resistance to noise. • The low-pass filter for HF1 and HF2 is designed for a cutoff frequency of 24 MHz. • Improved stability of USB stream. All functions mentioned above can be performed simultaneously! Fobos SDR also offers robust software support, compatible with Windows and Linux platforms. It includes a lightweight API, support for an external clock input, and straightforward driver installation that ensures a smooth user experience. Additionally, it is widely compatible with popular software such as SDRSharp, HDSDR, SoapySDR, Delphi library, GNURadio, and HDSDR ExtIO plugins, along with native uSDR support. All source codes are available on GitHub page and provided with LGPL-2.1 license. This is the best quick start SDR Receiver kit for additional software development, education and equipment evaluation. FOBOS Wideband General Purpose SDR Receivers are an excellent choice for hobbyists, researchers, and professionals in the field of radio communication, providing tools to fully leverage SDR technology.
