RM ITALY HLA305 HF Linear Amplifiers

RM ITALY HLA305 HF Linear Amplifiers offer a tremendous solid-state power boost for QRP transceivers. These amplifiers supply a nominal 200 watts continuous output on all HF bands with only 10 watts of drive, using four MRF455 power transistors combined to deliver clean RF output up to 30MHz.

Low power mode, activated by a front panel switch, inserts an internal 3dB RF attenuator, effectively reducing the input power by half.

Available in two models, the only difference between them is that the HLA 305 V includes a pair of cooling fans while the HLA 305 does not have fans.

**NOTE: These FCC Type Certified RM Italy HF amplifiers WILL NOT function on 27 MHz (11m). Any attempt to modify these products for 27 MHz use voids the warranty.

PLEASE READ: This amplifier is intended to be used with a low power (QRP) transceiver that is capable of an RF output of approximately 10 watts maximum. DO NOT USE this amplifier with radios that are capable of 100 watts output. Even when output power is turned down, many 100 watt transceivers send out an instantaneous high power RF pulse that will blow out the Solid State final transistors of this amplifier. Damage to final transistors due to RF pulse and overdrive is NOT COVERED UNDER WARRANTY. It is the owner's responsibility to use this amplifier properly, with a low power radio that cannot accidently damage the amplifier. Cost of repair of amplifiers with blown finals will be charged to the customer or will be deducted from the refund of returned amplifiers with blown finals.

SSB power rating is PEP for voice operations only, NOT for digital modes that must be run at 25% of PEP. Never use this amplifier at full power output for FT8, RTTY or any digital mode operations.
