West Mountain Radio ClearSpeech DSP Noise Reduction Speakers contain West Mountain's ClearSpeech noise reduction circuit and an audio amplifier. They are extremely effective in improving communication clarity, making mobile and base operation less fatiguing and more fun.
These speakers may be mounted in any location—they can rest on a tabletop or mount to any surface. Their included mounting bracket has two holes for mounting, and side-located adjustment knobs permit tilt aiming.
Features include:
* Amplified loudspeaker with ClearSpeech adaptive DSP noise reduction for voice and CW
* Recognizes intermittent nature of CW and allows it to pass noise-free
* Continuously variable adaptive filter noise reduction, 0 bB to -17 dB
* Contains a 4 in. loudspeaker with 10 watt amplifier
* Volume control knob for adjustment of internal speaker sound level
* Front mounted 1/8 in. stereo output jack for powered speakers or 16 ohm or higher headphones
* On/off switch with green indicator LED
* LED flashes red to indicate digital overload clipping
* Small, lightweight; includes mounting bracket
* Powerpole equipped cable plugs into any 12 V supply
