West Mountain Radio CLRdsp ClearSpeech® Noise Reduction Processors

West Mountain Radio CLRdsp ClearSpeech® Noise Reduction Processors are designed to be installed between your radio and your favorite passive external speaker or amplified speaker.

Complex DSP algorithms filter all of the noise content of the incoming signal and greatly attenuate or completely remove hum, hiss, vehicle ignition, and power line noise, as well as heterodynes. The result: the ability to hear voice and CW audio clearly, with over 85 percent of the noise removed.

These units have a convenient volume-control knob that allows a user to adjust the speaker audio level for comfortable listening. This allows the radio's AF Gain control setting to be optimized for other uses, such as interfacing to a West Mountain Radio RIGblaster sound card interface.

* Powerpoles plug into any 12V supply
* Plugs into the speaker or headphone output on the radio
* 1/8 in. phone jack on rear can drive external 8 or 4 ohm loudspeaker or amplified computer speakers
* On/off switch with green indicator LED
* Red LED flashes to indicate digital overload clipping
