So the HT battery pack has bitten the dust, but you need to use that radio! Good thing you purchased one of these genuine Yaesu Handheld Battery Cases.

Pop in your favorite type of AA cells and get back on the air! Buy almost anywhere in a pinch or stock up and use long shelf-life alkaline batteries in these holders for short term operations until you can recharge your HT battery pack.

For some models, a set of AA rechargeable cells fresh from their separate charger may be used in a battery case. Rechargeable cells should only be used to run an HT in an emergency.

Note: Never recharge rechargeable cells while in battery case. Some model HTs may not operate on the lower voltage provided by rechargeable cells. Consult your Handheld Transceiver manual.
