Long Island CW Club Good Vibrations Morse Code (CW) Haptic Assist Device

The Long Island CW Club (LICW) Good Vibrations Morse Code (CW) Haptic Assist Device is an innovative accessory designed to help hearing-impaired operators experience and decode Morse code through vibration and visual feedback. Developed through the dedication and hard work of a Long Island CW Club committee, the original haptic prototype was further refined and improved by Bob WO6W, resulting in a patented and highly effective Morse code assist device. Originally created to support LICW members with hearing challenges, the Good Vibrations device is now available to the general Amateur Radio community. While specifically designed for hearing-impaired operators, this unique learning tool can also benefit anyone interested in improving their CW proficiency. By engaging the sense of touch in addition to sight and hearing, users can develop alternative sensory pathways that may enhance Morse code recognition and accelerate the learning process. The additional tactile and visual feedback can help reinforce character recognition, improve copy accuracy, and make it easier to discern weak or challenging signals during everyday CW operation.
