Combining elegant design with excellent physical construction, MAT-TUNER automatic antenna tuners feature high quality multi-layer PC boards and lightweight machined-aluminum black oxide cases. The antenna tuners deliver an ultra-wide matching range of 5-1,500 ohms which far exceeds the range of internal automatic tuners or other external tuners. MAT-TUNER general-use automatic antenna tuners work with any HF transceiver, while radio-specific tuners can be controlled directly from the front panel on select transceivers. Depending on model, the antenna tuners operate on rig power or on a supplied internal rechargeable battery for shack or in-the-field use. MAT-TUNER also offers a selection of tuner-to-radio interface cables and coaxial cable assemblies to maximize the performance of your rig. Add precision automatic antenna tuning to your rig with MAT-TUNER equipment from DX Engineering.
mAT-TUNER Automatic Antenna Tuners
mAT-TUNER Automatic Antenna Tuners cover an extremely broad impedance matching range of 5-1500 ohms, to achieve SWR handling far in excess of a transceiver's internal ATU and of other external tuners. Each mAT-TUNER features excellent physical construction with quality, multi-level PC boards and sleek, lightweight machined black oxide aluminum cases. Depending on model, mAT-TUNERS operate from rig power or a supplied internal rechargeable battery for simplified operations, portable or anywhere. Use direct control from the front panel of interfaced Icom, Kenwood and Yaesu transceivers or simple "one touch" automatic RF-sensed tuning (except MAT-705) . mAT TUNER mAT-1500PROII Automatic Antenna Tuners
mAT TUNER mAT-1500PROII Automatic Antenna Tuners are multi-purpose high power tuners that can match almost any transmitter and amplifier. Providing Frequency coverage from 1.8 to 30MHz and with two antenna outputs, the mAT-1500PROII also provides antenna switching. Depending on how cables are connected, the tuner will operate in three modes: Icom, Yaesu or General, General mode also allows for remote operation of the tuner. The front panel has a 4.3 inch high resolution display that provides information as to the current operating mode, forward power in both PEP and Average power, with a bar scale that can show three ranges: 15W, 150W, and 1500W; in addition to the power output the antenna system SWR is also shown along with current toggleable settings such as antenna output selection, PTT status, which of the four buttons (LUP, LDN,CUP or CDN) was pressed last, and finally the current status of the tuner. The front panel also has 6 additional buttons for controlling if the PTT signal is passed from the tuner to an amplifier (effectively putting the amplifier in bypass), an online button which controls the tuner being in an online or bypass state, a Tune button which starts a tuning cycle when the tuner is in General mode, a range button which changes the displayed scale of the RF indicator on the display, an antenna select button which allows for changing the antenna jack that is used on the tuner, and finally, a power and screen background setting which allows for tuner power to be cycled in General mode as well as the screen brightness and background color to be changed (if the tuner is in Yaesu or Icom mode, the power function of this button is not used.) The rear panel features 3 SO-239 jacks, one for RF In, and two antenna connections. a ground lug and a handful of connection ports for interfacing with the radio. If the user wants the tuner to follow the frequency of the radio with no additional input, the user can connect the appropriate control cable (sold separately) to the radio and the Icom/Kenwood or Yaesu jacks on the back of the tuner. In these modes, the tuner will receive power from the radio and will power up with the radio and not require a dedicated power connection. In general mode, a connection to the DC in jack is required. A PTT in and Out jack both allow for the transceiver to send a PTT signal to the tuner and for the tuner to pass that PTT signal on to the amplifier. Additional Feature and Specifications: Frequency Coverage: 1.8 to 30 MHz Power Rating: 1500W(SSB), 800W(Data) Tuning Power: 5-15W Tuning Time: < 8 seconds (Programmed), 0.1 seconds (from pre-saved frequencies in memory) Operating Temperature: 14° F - 140° F Frequency memories: 16,000 Power Requirements: 12-14VDC, 2.0A Dimensions: 11.420"x9.567"x3.071" (H x L x W) Weight: 7.72 pounds

mAT-TUNER mAT-1F Automatic Antenna Tuners
MAT-TUNER mAT-1F Automatic Antenna Tuners are designed specifically for the Yaesu FTX-1 Field. Capable of matching the 10-watt output of the Yaesu FTX-1 Field, the MAT-TUNER mAT-1F draws power from the radio via the included control cable. Providing frequency coverage from 160-6 meters, the mAT-1F has a BNC jack for an antenna as well as a pair of banana jacks for long wire antennas this Ew. The bottom of the mAT-1F has jacks for the coax in from the radio, the control cable and an LED indicator that shows if the tuner is tuning, online or in bypass mode. Control of the tuner is accomplished from the FTX-1 which sees the tuner as if it were an FC-90 and the radios built in functions. This compact tuner is a perfect companion for the Yaesu FTX-1 Field as it is only 5.590" x 2.638" x 1.102" and weighs in at 12.5 oz; it's small enough to fit in your pack on your next field adventure with your FTX-1 Field.

mAT-TUNER mAT-10R QRP Remote Automatic Antenna Tuners
MAT-TUNER mAT-10R QRP Remote Automatic Antenna Tuners are compact automatic antenna tuners designed for today's small portable radios. Providing coverage across the 160-6 meter band, and capable of handling 10 watts of power on both SSB and Digital modes, this compact tuner is perfect for your next portable activation. The top of the tuner features a female BNC plus banana jack sockets allowing for the operators choice of long wire antennas or a coax fed antenna. The bottom of the tuner has a BNC female connector which supplies RF and DC power from a bias-tee (Sold Seperately). No control cable is required for the mAT-10R as the tuner is RF sensing and it will adjust the tuning with between three and six watts. A full tune will take about 10 seconds, and a memory tune will take around 1/10th of a second. Speaking of memories, there are 16,000 memory channels to cover the frequencies you use constantly. Latching relays allow for the power on the bias-tee to be turned off once you have accomplished a tuning cycle if you stay on the frequency you have tuned the antenna for.
