RedPitaya SDRlab 122-16
RedPitaya SDRlab 122-16 is a rigorously upgraded version of their revolutionary STEMlab board, redesigned specifically for SDR and other RF applications. It is capable from well below HF, with an emphasis on all of HF through the 6 meter band using popular SDR software. The SDRlab 122-16 board features a RF Input minimum frequency capability of 300 kHz (-3 dB) and no DC coupling using a low-power dual-channel 16-bit, 125 Msps ADC (Analog to Digital Converter) with 50 ohm inputs and a dual-channel 14-bit, 125 Msps DAC (Digital to Analog Converter) with 50 ohm outputs. The faster and more capable Dual Core ARM Cortex A9 Processor is paired with the larger Xilinx Zynq 7020 FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array) and 512 MB RAM to provide phenomenal real-time processing capabilities. All together the SDRlab 122-16 provides improved dynamic range, sensitivity, with reduced distortion, noise & crosstalk. Plus, its hardware is compatible with HPSDR. SDRlab 122-16 has 50 ohm SMA female Inputs and Outputs, 1 GB Ethernet and USB 2.0 connectivity, and is Wi-Fi capable with a dongle. Up to 16 digital and 4 analog I/Os are provided by the Extension Connector. The Standard Kit comes with the RedPitaya SDRlab 122-16 board, comes with a 16 GB micro SD Card, 1m Ethernet cable and Universal Power Supply 5V, 2A. RedPitaya SDRlab 122-16 is a strong basis for your own SDR Transceiver. With a frequency range to 62.5 MHz and 16 bits of resolution it represents a powerful and affordable core of the SDR radio that you build. The on board ADC, running at 125 Million samples per second at 16-bit depth, digitizes the RF signal from the antenna with excellent dynamic range. The data coming from the ADC is processed by an in-phase/quadrature (I/Q) digital down-converter (DDC) running on the Red Pitaya's FPGA. I/Q data is transmitted via TCP to the SDR programs such as SDR# and HDSDR. Add an all bands filter and amplifier module, connect an antenna and you are ready to start your SDR adventure!
