TBX Anti-Climb Panels
With TBX Tower Anti-Climb Panels in place, you won't have the worry of unauthorized people climbing on your tower. These anti-climb panels are made of heavy 20-gauge galvanized steel and completely hide tower braces from unwanted feet. These anti-climb panels are available for towers whose bottom sections are TBX3 through TBX8 and provide climbing protection for towers from 24 to 64 ft. in height. Simply choose the panels to match your section. For example, a TBX6 tower section would use ACP3-6 anti-climb panels. These anti-climb panels are supplied in sets of three to provide complete every-face protection. TBX Tower Hardware Packs
TBX Tower Hardware Packs are provided with every TBX tower. The hardware packages contain all of the nuts, joint bolts, and other hardware needed to assemble your new TBX tower. Each hardware pack is keyed to your specific tower height and model. Whether your new tower is 24 ft. tall, 64 ft. tall, or somewhere in between, having the proper hardware is just as significant. It's also good to know that if the hardware is lost, stolen, or otherwise unavailable, a replacement package is readily available. If you are refurbishing an old TBX tower or just buying a hardware pack as a replacement, remember that you can get your TBX Tower Hardware Packs from DX Engineering!

TBX Tower Base Stubs
TBX Tower Base Stubs facilitate mounting the bottom of the tower to the concrete tower base. These are literally stubbed tower-leg sections that are 4 ft. in length. Each base stub number corresponds to the tower section that the stubs fit. That means that a TBX-BS-3 will fit the TBX-3 tower section. The TBX-BS-7/8 will fit both the TBX-7 and TBX-8 tower sections. Use these base stubs to anchor your TBX Tower when NOT using a tilt-base. For tilt-base applications, use the recommended anchor bolts. TBX Towers are deluxe steel towers that won't break the bank! TBX Tower Base Hinge Kits
TBX Tower Base Hinge Kits serve the same function as a hinged base-plate, but are individual heavy-duty hinges that attach to each tower leg independently. Each hinge kit comes with concrete anchor bolts and all necessary hardware for hinging up to a 64 ft. free-standing tower! These hinge kits are supplied with high-quality materials that are designed to take all that Mother Nature can throw at them! TBX Tower Mast Hardware Kits
TBX Tower Mast Hardware Kits provide mounting options for masts of 1.250 in. diameters. These high-quality mast hardware kits are made of weather-resistant materials for durability and long life. The MK2 clamp assembly is normally used with section 1 as the top section. The TC heavy-duty mast clamp flange is normally used with section 2 or 3 as the top section. Holes are provided on all top plates and rotor plates, however, to accommodate either one. TBX Tower Packaged Tower Kits
TBX Tower Packaged Tower Kits are complete self-standing tower kits that are strong, yet affordable. Get your HF, VHF or UHF antenna up and into the clear with TBX self-supporting towers—priced competitively to guyed towers, but they fit into a smaller area where guys cannot be installed! These towers feature a strong X Brace design made of pre-galvanized steel with beaded channel legs and riveted construction. The kits use offset-mounting sections, a method that yields a lighter-weight tower that "steps down" in size with each section. Sections are supplied pre-assembled and arrive with the required hardware for an easy installation. TBX Towers are available in 24, 32, 40, 48, 56 and 64 ft. heights. Choose a package from the Standard Tower TBX series, the Heavy-Duty Tower THBX series, or the Extra Heavy-Duty Towers THDBX series. All packages include tower sections, top plate, rotor plate, mast mount and sleeve tube. Standard series towers include an 8 ft. x 1-1/4 in. mast. Each TBX tower package includes a top plate and a rotor plate that are appropriately sized for the provided top section. They're drilled to accommodate mounting stationary mast brackets and clamps. The TBX Rotor Plates have elongated holes that accommodate most CDE, Hy-Gain and Yaesu rotator models. Rotor plates are not intended for mounting thrust bearings and are not drilled for them. If your plans include using a 2 in. mast and thrust bearing, order one of the Extra Heavy-Duty THDBX series tower packages. They have TP-3 Top Plates which are large enough for a 2 in. mast thrust bearing and will accommodate field drilling the thrust bearing mounting holes. This includes the DX Engineering Advanced Design Thrust Bearing model DXE-TB-300 or the old style ROHN TB-3. Drilling is also required for mounting a Yaesu thrust bearing. For each tower package, you must add to your order either a Hinged Base or fixed Base Stubs, to be anchored in your reinforced concrete tower foundation. TBX Tower Top Plates
TBX Tower Top Plates work in conjunction with the rotor plate to support lateral forces on the antenna mast. Each top plate has provision for a thrust tube to function as a bearing and allow the mast to turn freely. These top plates are supplied as replacements for the plates supplied with your tower kit or top section. Select your top plate by matching the plate number with the section number. For example, use a TP2 top plate with a TBX2A top section. NOTE: Only the TP3, which only fit on the THDBX series Extra Heavy-Duty Tower Packages, and the TBX3 section, is large enough for a DX Engineering Thrust Bearing, model DXE-TB-300, or ROHN Thrust Bearing model TB-3. TBX Tower Standard Masts
TBX Tower Standard Masts are pre-galvanized steel with a 1.250 in. diameter. They are designed to fit inside the 1.380 in. diameter thrust bearing tube supplied with TBX tower packages or top sections. These are the same masts supplied with new tower packages or top sections. These 16 ga. masts have a 0.0625 in. wall thickness and are 8 ft. long. Order your TBX Tower Standard Masts from DX Engineering as a perfect companion to your TBX Tower top section.

TBX Tower Rotor Plates
TBX Tower Rotor Plates are shelves designed to mount inside of the tower's top section. They're available to fit the TBX, THBX, and THDBX series towers. The TBX Rotor Plates have elongated holes that accommodate most CDE, Hy-Gain and Yaesu rotator models. Note: TBX Rotor Plates are not drilled for the mounting of thrust bearings. They're drilled to accommodate mounting stationary mast brackets and clamps. Whether you're using the RP1 for the standard tower or the RP2 or RP3 for the heavier towers, the high quality of the heavy-gauge, zinc-plated rotor plate is the same. TBX Tower Step Kits
To aid in the ease of climbing, TBX Tower Step Kits may be purchased for sections 1, 2, or 3. These step kits are used to provide sure, flat footing instead of relying on diagonal bracing. Select your step kit by matching the kit number with the section number. For example, an SK2 step kit would be used with a TBX2 or TBX2A top section. Each of the tower step kits contains three steps and necessary mounting hardware. These steps are sufficient for one face of a top section. TBX Tower Sections
DX Engineering is pleased to offer TBX Tower Sections as an alternative choice for hams that want to assemble their own free-standing tower. Although there are only eleven discrete sections in the TBX stable, these sections may be assembled into Standard, Heavy-Duty, and Extra Heavy-Duty towers of varying height. TBX Tower Sections are lattice-style offset-mounting sections; each 8 ft. section offsets at the top to accept the next, smaller section. This method yields a tower that "steps down" in size the higher they go, but does so with sections that are essentially straight. Made of heavy-gauge contoured steel with riveted "X" bracing, these tower sections are also pre-galvanized for weather resistance and long life. Each section is supplied pre-assembled and arrives with the required hardware for an easy installation. To choose sections for your tower needs, start with a TBX1A top section for standard strength, a TBX2A top section for Heavy-Duty strength, or a TBX3A top section for Extra Heavy-Duty strength, and then add subsequently numbered sections to reach your desired height.
