ACOM 2S1 Automatic Two-Transceiver Commutators are transmit/receive switches that allow two transceivers to use a common load, which can be either an amplifier or an antenna. Nevertheless, they may be used to commutate a multi-band antenna, or may be adapted for other systems, too. Operation of 2S1 switches can be fully automatic with full break-in (QSK) mode standard. Built-in protection grounds one transceiver RF input while the other transceiver transmits. Simultaneous transmission is prevented while T/R sequencing and RF relay contacts are electronically monitored continuously.
