Alpha Delta SEP Arc-Plug® Static Electricity Protectors are mounted in the DELTA-C Center Insulator and bleed off slow-rising static electricity charges by routing them harmlessly to ground, before they can enter the shack through the feedline. This method is far more effective than DC-grounded baluns or chokes, which can be "popped" by static charges.

Alpha Delta SEP Arc-Plug® units are OEM replacements for the protectors located in the back of DELTA-C Center Insulators and are easily replaced by carefully removing the #10 stainless steel hardware used to attach the ends of the antenna wires. Please note the assembly order of your washers, lock washers, wires, nuts, and carefully re-assemble them in the same order after replacing the static electricity protector cartridge.
