COMPACtenna CompacCounterpoise NMO Mount Base Station Ground Plane

COMPACtenna CompacCounterpoise is a unique NMO Mount Ground Plane Radial Kit that turns the amazing mobile COMPACtenna models into sturdy, and stealthy, base station antennas. With four - 45 degree angled radials, optimized signal and SWR for VHF and UHF is now available for base station use of these COMPACtenna models:

With the CompacCounterpoise, these models are excellent for Base Station and Repeater use, particularly for low height above average terrain (HAAT) installations, where Non-Line of Sight (NLOS) propagation is substantial. Broad elevation coordinate signal pattern and elliptical polarization of COMPACtenna provide stabilized signals in our common Non-Line of Sight environments, with temperature and humidity inversion pathways, as well as tropospheric propagation and satellite communications.

The CompacCounterpoise works well as an NMO mobile antenna base station mount for many other monoband or multi-band NMO mount antennas in the 144 to 512 MHz (144-1000 MHz COUNTERPOISE-N model) transceive range and above 512 MHz for scanner-monitoring uses. When not using a COMPACtenna model, results are dependent upon the NMO mount mobile antenna used (antenna not supplied with CompacCounterpoise).

The CompacCounterpoise includes the 3 in. diameter mounting plate with mast bracket, clamps, four 18 in. radials and stainless steel hardware. This assembly includes the top flush mount NMO with gasket, a bottom SO-239 for PL-259 coaxial cable attachment on the CAN-COUNTERPOISE model and an N Female connector on the CAN-COUNTERPOISE-N model (coax cable not supplied). The mount's maximum power rating is 200 W up to 225 MHZ and 100 W on higher frequencies.
