COMPACtenna PERFECT 10

COMPACtenna PERFECT 10 is a hand-crafted optimized performance dedicated frequency vertical whip antenna for the 10 meter Amateur band that combines novel engineering with quality machining. Each antenna is precisely tested and tuned in Ohio, USA. This specialized 3/8-24 thread stud mount whip is approximately 65 in. tall and handles 500W RF power. Above the unique horizontal spiral structure, the stainless steel whip can be adjusted for minimum SWR. For mobile applications, strategic positioning of the vertical on the vehicle will affect SWR and performance. A grounded mobile mount near the edge of the vehicle should be used for the best results.

The PERFECT 10 may also be used as a base station when mounted well above the ground using a sufficient ground plane. This can be 8 or more feet of metal or radials, horizontal or angled downward, at least 10 ft. away from other metal and antenna. Installation examples include magnet, clamp or bracket mounting on house, shed, or building metal roof (upper area), or a well-supported metal gutter or trim, or a metal railing.
