DX Engineering Receive Short Element Mounting Plates DXE-RSE-IMB is a package of two of the "insulated mounting board" replacement part for DXE-RSEAV-1 series receive verticals and for separately purchased DXE-AVA-3 Active Matching Unit or a legacy AVA-2. This item also serves as a replacement for a damaged or lost plate for legacy model ARAV4 Active antennas. The DXE-RSE-IMB are pre-drilled poly-resin insulated plastic mounting plates, with dimensions of: WHD: 4.500 x 8.625 x 0.250 in. (114 x 219 x 6.35mm).

The related kit, DXE-RSE-A, includes only the antenna tubing and hardware, provided for those who need to replace a damaged or lost whip for their current model RSEAV-1 or legacy model ARAV4 Active antenna. Refer to the DXE-RSE-AR-INS manual for assembly details, linked at the Documentation section of the parts detail web pages for DXE-RSE-A and DXE-RSE-R.
The completed assembly, RSE-R , RSE-A and AVA- 3 is equivalent to a DXE-RSEAV-1 Receive Antenna, which mounts at ground level on a user supplied ground rod. It should be located in a clear area away from structures, transmit antennas and metal fences for best performance. See DXE-RSEAV-1 for additional information.
