MONO4 20 excels in multi stacked array configurations. Stacks can be optimized for maximum forward gain or arranged to broaden directional coverage across multiple regions—making them an excellent choice for contest stations and serious DX operators.
Built on a square boom, they are supplied with an assembly tool, spare hardware components, and clearly labeled bolts and aluminum tubes to ensure fast and intuitive assembly. All hardware is packaged in separate, clearly marked bags for added convenience. Mono4-20 can be mounted on a mast or side mounted on towers and require a medium duty rotator.
A 3kW RF choke balun is included as standard equipment—an essential component that many manufacturers offer only as an optional upgrade. Momobeam RF Chokes are built using high quality, low loss, double shielded coaxial cable with a Teflon dielectric, combined with carefully selected ferrite material sleeved over the cable. Together, these elements create a high impedance path for RF, providing excellent isolation between the antenna and the coaxial feedline.
